VARIO delineator cap for curves
The VARIO delineator cap for curves – developed at the initiative of and in close cooperation with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure in Baden-Wurttemberg – is used as a marker and signal in a variety of applications. It is primarily used to mark curves with a tight radius and on dangerous stretches of road for motorcycles and is instrumental in helping to avoid and reduce injuries in accidents involving two-wheeled road users.
On account of the positive experiences, the VARIO delineator cap for curves has been adopted as the new standard in the MVMot 2021. In the meantime, the VARIO delineator cap for curves is now in successful use on numerous German Federal States (e.g. Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Hesse etc.) as well as in other European countries (e.g. Austria, Switzerland).
VARIO angled delineator cap for curves
Developed at the instigation of the FGSV Working Group MVMot 2018, the VARIO angled delineator cap for curves makes a major contribution to preventing and reducing injuries to motorcyclists in accidents and has been approved by the Federal State Ministries of Transport.
The VARIO angled delineator cap for curves supplements our existing assortment, thus enabling tight corners to be signposted quickly and in the best possible way.
VARIO modular
Our VARIO modular system is the further development of our popular VARIO interchangeable signs. On the one hand, it is us for stationary use and helps improve general road safety at roundabouts, entrances an exits as well as traffic islands.
On the other hand, VARIO modular allow even more flexible, faster and safer signposting and safeguarding of mobile and temporary roadworks.
The easy-to-use system serves to facilitate the daily work of the road maintenance service and to increase general personal and traffic safety for short-term measures and work along the road.
VARIO support system
We recommend that the system components be attached to our VARIO support posts for installation in delineator bases or to VARIO tubular posts for installation in steel ground sleeves for signs.
The overall solution is a traffic control device that is prescribed and not a road sign in accordance with the German Road Traffic Regulations (StVO). No special authorisation is required.
